We are working with a AAA studio based based in South of England, looking for a Golang Backend Programmer to join their team. This role is offered on-site at their studio or remote based in England. This role is open to worldwide candidates.

What will you do?

• Build web-based tooling to facilitate effective game development across the studio
• Work closely with QA and Live teams to provide tooling capabilities
• Own and implement technical delivery of aspects of the online tooling solutions

What skills do you need?

• Professional experience as a Tools or Server Programmer in a game studio
• Go-lang and C++
• Debugging
• Mathematics, algorithms and data structures
• Experience with scripting languages e.g. Python
• Server experience
• 2+ years’ experience in a similar position preferably in games
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar
