Graphics Programmer – Malta – Onsite – Videogames
Our client is makes AAA action games in a realistic art style. We seek an experience graphics/render programmer to join their onsite team. Full relocation package and visa support provided.
Key Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with team members to enhance our cutting-edge graphics pipeline, focusing on advanced rendering techniques, lighting, and special effects.
· Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize both current and upcoming rendering code.
· Proactively explore and integrate new rendering methods and technologies.
· Communicate effectively and work closely with Technical Artists to design, refine, and iterate on tools and features.
Qualifications:
· A minimum of 3 years of professional experiencein the field.
· Strong proficiency in C++.
· Solid understanding and practical application of 3D mathematics, rendering algorithms, and data structures.
· A performance-focused mindset with strong optimization skills.
· Initiative and drive to continually learn and implement emerging rendering techniques.
· Proficiency in mathematical analysis.
· Familiarity with physically-based rendering techniques and how to apply them.
· Excellent communication skills, with experience working alongside Technical Artists to collaboratively develop tools and features.
Preferred Skills:
· Knowledge of a wide range of graphics APIs and shader languages, including DirectX and OpenGL/GLSL.
· Hands-on experience developing for 9th generation console platforms.
