Head of Product Marketing - REF 2644 - United Kingdom

As the Head of Community, reporting to the marketing director, you will have full control over the social and community strategy for all titles going forward, in addition to the company social profiles themselves. In this position, you will play an integral role in the success of all future releases, nurturing a consistently engaged and positive community, while also driving significant, consistent growth at a global scale, successfully reaching and activating previously untapped countries and communities.

Responsibilities:

  • Advance and propel creative and commercially effective GTM strategies (include positioning, audience cohorts, roadmap, budget allocation), from ideation through to execution, with a mind for delivering KPI-driven activations
  • Determine, recruit, and work alongside key 3rd party agencies to review on and develop marketing activities, including research, ad and creative agencies
  • Discuss with the heads of all marketing verticals – including influencers, PR, and social media – helping each department accustom the hero strategy to their respective area, in order to maximise opportunities on all marketing activations
  • Control the asset creation pipeline, including ideation, production and deployment
  • Oversee, analyse and report to stakeholders on marketing activations, leveraging insights to improve existing and future marketing campaigns
  • Use excellent copywriting skills to write for many genres and audiences, to produce best-in-class copy for a range of mediums, including trailers, product pages and internal comms
  • Govern and flourish a team of direct reports
  • Carry market research across a variety of market verticals
  • Act as a brand guardian, assuring all marketing deliverables adhere to brand guidelines and standards
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment, balancing a range of titles at any one time

Desirables:

  • Has a keen passion for video games
  • Has 3 years or more experience working in a Product Marketing focused role within the video game industry
  • Is a natural people person, with the ability to form relationships with a wide variety of individuals
  • Arrives with an extensive network of contacts
  • Has formerly led on fruitful marketing campaigns, from ideation through to execution
  • Is self-driven and motivated and can manage own time and workload
  • Is a fluent English speaker
