What you will be doing:

  • Create lifelike characters and creatures, shaping player experiences and interactions with deep customisation and functionality to meet game requirements.

  • Utilise diverse digital tools for sculpting, modelling, and texture painting, emphasising observational art and mastering production techniques.

  • Enhance believability through technical tools like cloth simulations, photogrammetry, and physically based shader pipelines.

  • Collaborate effectively with Art Director and Senior Artists to achieve creative and production goals.

  • Contribute to character and creature art asset production across all projects for a cohesive and immersive visual experience.

What we need from you:

  • 2+ years of post-secondary educational experience in 2D and 3D art production, or equivalent.

  • Comprehensive 3D character creature art portfolio showcasingexpertise in realistic human anatomy and garment/drapery representation.

  • Proficiency in creating both bipedal and quadruped characters.

  • Strong skills in 3D modelling using software like 3DStudio Maya and texturing in Photoshop.

  • Exceptional sculpting ability in ZBrush and proficiency in Marvellous Designer workflow for digital clothing production.

What you will be doing:

  • Create Visual effects using Unreal 5 and a variety of technical approaches
  • Create high-quality VFX assets (meshes, textures, flow maps, image sequences, vertex animations, etc.)
  • Work with the VFX director, designs and programmers to ensure that VFX enhances the overall experience of the game
  • Work on further improvements and customization of the studios existing effects toolset
