We are working with an exciting PC/Console game studio based in Southern Germany who are looking for an experienced Lead Concept Artist to join their team and work on their latest projects. This role is offered fully onsite with an excellent relocation package.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead to internal concept art team and manage concept outsourcing with external studios
  • Plan and prioritize the team’s day to day tasks to ensure progress and on time delivery
  • Create 2D concept art under requirements with high efficiency, including characters, backgrounds, buildings, props and scenes
  • Collaborate with the Art Director and game designers to develop the visual style and direction of the game
  • Work on different visual styles from Realistic to stylized
  • Conduct annual reviews and have 1-to-1 meetings

Who you are:

  • 5+ years of experience in concept art with experience as a Senior concept Artist
  • Shipped at least 1 or more games as a Lead Concept Artist/Outsourcing Manager
  • Strong understanding of design principles, composition, colour theory, and visual storytelling
  • Ability to work on different visual styles from realistic to stylised
  • Great English written and verbal communication skills

Remote Technical Animator PC/Console Games AAA – REF 2850

We are working with a well-established AAA game studio who are looking for a talented and experienced Technical Animator to join their team and help with their latest exciting RPG project. This role is offered fully remote.

What you will be doing:

  • Be responsible for setting up characters which include ragdoll, dynamics (rigid bodies, fake physics), cloth simulation, IKs etc.
  • Build animation blueprints and maintenance for main player, NPCS and enemies’ bosses.
  • Work with Unreal Engine 5.
  • Build small tools such as animModifies to help automatize animation tasks for animators.
  • Develop and maintain efficient animation pipelines, workflows, and tools.
  • Troubleshoot and solve technical issues relating to animation.

Who you are:

  • Industry experience in a Technical Animator role or similar.
  • Unreal Engine experience, preferably in Unreal Engine 5.
  • Good understanding of UE animation workflow.
  • Knowledge of procedural systems such as IKs, rigid bodies and Control Rig.
  • Knowledge of physical simulation setup e.g., ragdolls.
  • Phyton or C++, with the desire to learn.
  • Great English written and verbal communication.
