We have a C++ studio client looking for a forward-thinking Senior programmer to join a phenomenal team and continue to take the gaming industry by storm. 

As a Senior Programmer you will be responsible for the day to day development of game features across one or many platforms. You will also be responsible for the design and implementation of game systems within a title, potentially mentoring and managing one or two junior programmers to help achieve your goals. 


In a typical day:

You will be required to design, implement and debug features within the game you are working on, potentially working across multiple platforms simultaneously. You know how to use the tools required, including dev kits to refine and polish the game systems to meet the highest standards. You will have super interpersonal skills enabling you to accurately report progress and issues as the feature progresses, allowing you and your team to manage the progress of the project. Finally, you will be able to share your knowledge and experience with the rest of the team, improving their abilities on a daily basis.

What you need:


  • 5+ years of commercial C++ experience, coding and debugging.

  • At least one area of specialism within game developments (graphics, networking, gameplay, AI, etc.).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Knowledge of build and pipeline systems within game development.

  • At least 1 shipped title (preferably on console).

  • Great if you have these skills:

    • Good time management and self-motivation skills.

    • Ability to take direction and criticism.

    • Experience with small team management, and mentoring.

    • Knowledge of large scale asset pipelines.

    • Knowledge of source control and asset management tools.

The Role



  • They exist to improve the online experiences of players worldwide. You'll achieve this by building their platform and online services for major titles. You'll then consult on, and license, their proven platform and features to the world's best publishers and platforms.

  • While working as an online services engineer you’ll be exposed to various engine/game technologies as well as backend APIs, both first and third party.

  • You should be comfortable diving into a foreign codebase and apply your skills where it matters most for our customers.

What you will do:


  • Respect and master the constraints of each target platforms.

  • Optimize the flow of real-time data and editing.

  • Maintain and optimize certain parts (eg rendering, audio, scene management, image processing, production flow, network, etc.) on multiple target platforms.

  • Collaborate with the Technical Director and the Lead Platform Programmer in a role of technical audit and advisor for artists and designers.

  • Design and develop the tools required for the production.

  • What we need from you: 

    • Excellent knowledge of the architecture of CPU, GPU, memory caches, etc...

    • Solid understanding of GPUs and how they work

    • Deep understanding of DirectX SDK 11 API and internals. DirectX 12 would be a plus.

    • Mastery of versioning tools (such as Perforce)

Our client based in a fun London office is looking for a Lead gameplay Programmer will manage a team of gameplay coders and drive through all aspects of an ‘AAA’ game’s requirements in accordance with the Game Director’s lead. Working and developing the team every day, the Lead Player Programmer will work to promote the creative vision of the project, hold reviews and provide feedback to the team, lead-by-example, and push the boundaries of gameplay coding for video games.

What we need from you:


  • Track record of managing a team with experience on successfully-published titles, participating in the development from concept to publishing stage.

  • Experience working on player character’s control, traversal and camera mechanics are useful.

  • Experienced in C/C++.

  • An advanced understanding of the main gaming platforms and the requirements needed to develop software on them.

  • A deep understanding of game technology principles.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge in mentoring, leading and running an experienced team of programmers.
