Senior/Lead UI Artist Award-winning Studio Canada Ref 2071

Our client is an award-winning studio based in Canada, offering a range of digital services. They are  looking to appoint an experienced and creative Senior UI Artist to join their competent and talented UI team.  In this role you will not necessarily be managing people but act as the key contact in the UI team.

Who you are

• Design and analyse project requests


• Create UI style guides for the whole team


• Create UI assets, UI skinning and define UI layout


• Define: usability strategies; front end flow and menu hierarchy design / layout; game controls and interface


• Work to maintain the UI pipelines to meet deadlines


• Push and maintain quality standards of the projects

• Relevant qualification with games industry experience
  


• Solid UI/UX and illustration experience
  


• HUDS, menus, icons…
  


• Unity, Adobe suite and knowledge of 3D programmes
  


• Portfolio demonstrating exceptional UI as well as a broad range and styles of art skills
  


• Understanding of technical aspects in video games and good graphics practices in a game/mobile application context
  


• Resourceful, self-motivated, organised and creative lead artist and a problem solver
  


• 7+ years’ experience with some in games
