New Vacancy - Weapon Artist - AAA Studio - Sweden


Our client is a AAA developer of First Person Shooters for Console and PC platforms. They are now seeking to add an experienced Weapon Artist to join their Swedish studio's talent and realise the weapons and equipment featured heavily in the games they are known for.


  •  Craft high-quality assets; weapons, equipment and skins
  •  Collaborate closely with both Art, Animation and Design departments to ensure form and function of weapons matches the vision
  •  Effective integration of assets into game engine

  • 2 years' experience within the games industry, ideally combined with a deep passion for weapons, military and games in general
  • Strong in Maya or equivalent, ideally experience with Substance as well
  • Capacity to model weapons and attachments to a photorealistic degree, working from photo references, ideally with a mind to marry form with function
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, providing and receiving feedback
  • Fluency in English, with communication skill across all levels
