They are seeking to add a Senior Technical Artist to their company.

Responsibilities:

  • Build art tools and automation processes to improve efficiency of the studio’s art pipeline
  • Assisting with a mix of asset rigging, shader programming, animation and in-game lighting
  • Participate in R&D of new techniques and incorporate into the art / production pipeline
  • Propose, articulate and coordinate solutions working in cross-discipline teams

Requirements:

  • Broad range of 3D skills, including 3D modelling, texturing, rigging, animation, profiling and optimisation.
  • 2-3 years of experience within the AAA games industry, with at least 1 shipped title
  • Experience scripting in Python and C# (Unity Editor Scripting)

The Role
By setting great examples and helping to mentor more junior developers, you will lead the team in planning and implementing solutions to support all aspects of game development.

You should have a pragmatic and practical approach to working with technology, with experience of pushing the technical limits and ensuring the Art team can work efficiently and comfortably. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a small, skilled team of Technical Artists 
  • Drive the planning and implementation of game, editor and standalone art tools
